The Machine Embroidery Club will meet on the second Tuesday, July 11th, followed by
the BERNINA Software Club.
First Tuesday of each Month
The machine embroidery club meets the first Tuesday of every month at 11:30 am and is open to all
In this meeting, we will discuss new embroidery
ideas. Bring your triumphs and disasters. We all learn by our mistakes.
In addition to the usual club agenda,
we are starting a machine embroidery block of the month, Feels
Like Spring. The multi-formatted design CD includes all the information and the applique-in-the-hoop design motifs you
will need to complete your choice of a bed-size quilt, a lap quilt, or a bed runner. The formats on the design CD include ART, EXP, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES4, PES6, VIP, VP3, and XXX. In addition to the applique motifs, the CD also contains, quilting designs and cutwork designs for
all the luck owners of the BERNINA cutwork tool. PDF’s for the
applique pieces are also included.
The pattern also includes a few pieced blocks
We will be discussing fabric choices,
thread choices, and will be happy to help you find fabrics to create your quilt from scratch, or we will be happy to help
you find coordinating fabrics if you want to work down your stash. Alternate projects for your blocks will also be discussed.

club is open to all BERNINA software owners. If you purchased your software from us, the club is free. If you
purchased your software elsewhere, there is a modest $10.00 charge for each meeting. If you are interested in purchasing
software, you are welcome to attend a meeting at no charge. Sitting in during a club meeting is a good way
to learn about the software's capabilities.
Please bring your projects for show-and-tell, your questions and suggestions.
During the March meeting,
we will be discussing the editing features of the software, including adding an article, changing stitch types and stitch
angles, adding a guideline plus other features. Please bring a USB stick so that we can copy the "Owner’s
Workbook Volume 1" onto it.
